In addition to the usual characteristics of our applications—multi-user capability, Windows user interface, security and so on—VATinfo also features the following general characteristics:

• System enquiries: There is a simple facility for conducting queries on data. Data is often presented in tabular format and queries can be done based on any combination of columns. Transaction data lists have columns that allow you to query for a specific year or month.
• Auditing: There is a system log table with restricted access in which the user ID, date and time are recorded for all entries, exits and operational activities within VATinfo.
