6092. Investigated and advised MoneyBooks Payroll user on people with completed loans (or almost completed). Because the monthly deduction amount for the loan record still showed and not the loan balance that had become less, the client assumed a wrong deduction would be made next. Demonstrated that in such situations, it would actually be the loan balance that would be deducted during the next processing, rather than the usual monthly amount. Also reviewed Labelwriter client’s request for the next upgrade.

6103. Did EPPMS work most of the day: Investigated inability to format exported date values in Excel; wrote SQL code for demoting an employee’s grade level in a backup database. The dates were in text format and so DATEVALUE function needed to be used to get a value that could be formatted.

6162. New, more spacious and modern accommodation was secured at 29 Oremeji Street, Off Pillar Avenue, Oke-Oriya Estate, Ikorodu (near Agric bus stop).

6173. Lekan Balogun started work as office assistant.

6254. EPPMS client reported again a fatal warning message being given by the application. An update was written and sent to address the issue, as a temporary solution.

6302. Did EPPMS technical support work, first sending the client an update in the morning, to assign PENCOM numbers to over 900 people, and then, after another call, an update in the evening to include inactive nature on the MDA nominal roll, EPPMS version 4.392.
